Effective January 1, 2026. Scotchtown Technology Inc. d/b/a FreeCloverPOS.com (“we,” “us,” or “our”) provides this website to help businesses request information about point-of-sale systems, payment processing, and related services.

Information we collect

When you request a quote or funding review, we collect the information you submit, such as your name, business name, legal-entity name, email address, phone number, industry, estimated revenue and card volume, current POS system, business goals, and message. A funding-review form may also request supporting business records, such as a 12-month POS-revenue record and, when applicable, a recent rent or lease record. We may also collect limited technical information that browsers typically provide, such as device, browser, IP-address, and site-usage information.

How we use and share information

We use submitted information and supporting business records to respond to your request, discuss potential services or funding-review options, operate and improve this website, prevent fraud or misuse, and comply with law. We may share information with service providers and with World Wide Merchant Services, TSYS, Fiserv, or other applicable merchant-services or funding providers when needed to evaluate, provide, support, or administer a requested service. We do not ask visitors to submit payment-card numbers, bank-account numbers, Social Security numbers, bank-login credentials, or government identification through this website’s forms.

Security and retention

Funding-review supporting records are stored outside the public website directory and are not added to the public media library. We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect the information we handle and keep information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described here, legitimate business operations, and applicable recordkeeping requirements. No internet transmission or storage method is completely secure.

New York notice

New York’s SHIELD Act requires reasonable safeguards for private information and may require notice following certain security incidents. If a security event involving personal information occurs, we will evaluate and respond in accordance with applicable law. This website notice does not replace any separate provider privacy notice or merchant-services agreement.
